Protects My Oura Ring During Workouts and ChoresI’ve been wearing an Oura Ring for health tracking, and while I love the tech, I sometimes worry about scratching it up when I’m doing hands-on work. Enter these BandSmith silicone covers – they’ve been a simple but effective solution. The pack I got came with three covers in different colors (in my case, a black, a clear, and a pink – though I admit I probably won’t use the pink, my wife claimed that one for her Oura). The size Small fits my size 9 ring perfectly; it’s snug but not a struggle to put on. The silicone is soft and flexible, so I just stretch it over the Oura Ring and it wraps it completely, like a little protective donut. Once it’s on, I hardly notice the cover. It adds a tiny bit of bulk, but it’s still comfortable on my finger. Importantly, it doesn’t interfere with the Oura’s sensors or functionality at all. I continue to get all my sleep and activity data as usual. I mainly use the cover during workouts, yard work, or any activity where the ring might get scuffed or where I might get dirt under it. For example, when I lift weights or grip gym equipment, the cover shields the ring from any metal-on-metal contact. I’ve checked the ring after some tough sessions, and it remains scratch-free, so the silicone is doing its job. I also put it on when I’m gardening or doing DIY projects like painting – times when I’d normally consider taking the ring off. Now I keep the ring on but covered, so I don’t risk misplacing it somewhere (which was a concern when I’d take it off and set it down). An unexpected plus is that the cover makes the ring less shiny and less conspicuous. My Oura is silver, and with the black cover on, it looks like a simple black band. Sometimes I prefer that low-profile look, especially when traveling; it draws less attention to the fact that I’m wearing a tech gadget. The silicone has proven durable. Over months of use, the cover hasn’t torn or stretched out. It still fits as snugly as day one. I rinse it under water occasionally to clean off any sweat or grime, and it hasn’t degraded or become sticky like some cheap silicone can. For me, the 3-pack was nice because I keep one cover in my gym bag, one in the garage, etc. One minor thing to note: because it’s a full cover, it does trap moisture underneath if your hands get wet. So after a sweaty workout or washing dishes, I’ll remove the cover and dry the ring and the inside of the cover so nothing gets funky. It’s a quick extra step but worth it. Also, the clear cover is a bit prone to picking up discoloration (mine got a slight yellowish tint after heavy use, maybe from garden soil or just general wear). The black one still looks brand new, so I stick with that as my favorite. In summary, if you’ve invested in an Oura Ring and want to keep it pristine, these silicone covers are a cheap insurance policy. I feel a lot more confident now wearing my ring through all my daily activities. No more setting it aside and forgetting it or nervously checking for scratches – it’s protected, and I can just live my life with one less worry on my mind.

  ★★★★☆ A Perfect Fit. If you're like me, and you didn't want to pay extra for the gold OURA ring, so you got silver and need a cover. OR you're a gym goer and need a cover to protect your ring. GET THESE. I have purchased and tried different ones and these are the ones you want. They fit perfectly around the entire ring. The color selection is great. It protects your ring and doesn't interfere with connectivity. It also doesn't add any additional weight or bulkiness. I am a pink girlie, so this was a 10/10 purchase for me. The only con is that you need to take your ring off when you wash your hands even though the ring is waterproof. Otherwise, the water will collect/pocket between your ring and this cover.
