Exactly What I Wanted. Thanks to the Google/Fitbit merger, I have been in the market for a new device to track my sleep, steps and other aspects of health as I recover from a chronic illness. Since I don't like wearing wristbands (especially during sleep), I set my sights on a Smart Ring, and the RENPHO Lynx Smart Ring was the 16th I've tried... Sweet 16!After trying multiple generations of Oura, RingConn, Samsung and other "generic" devices, I decided to try one more time. This is when I found RENPHO.I didn't bother with the sizing kit because these rings all follow the same sizing format, and I knew that I could stick with the size 10. Fits perfectly, even when I suffer with swelling, I can just switch to a different hand or a thumb.Even though I do not agree with sleep metrics that claim to detect and differentiate between "Light" or "REM" sleep, there's no getting away from them... They are on every device. What I want is an accurate record of "Awake", "Restless" and "Sleep" time segments from my sleep cycle.(Like I had with Fitbit for 10 years...RIP), but I'm trying to deal with this new metric.RENPHO is the ONLY device that comes close (minus the bogus "Light" sleep) to accurately mapping my sleep cycle. This ring is exactly what I was looking for and I am very happy with the PRO's:*Reasonable price - $170*No Subscription Fee*Light weight and stylish (I got the silver band)*Easy to setup and it stays connected (unlike some of the others I've tried this year.)*Accuracy with sleep and my few steps... Finally!*HRV, Heart Rate and PulseOx are accurate as well. The only CON (that doesn't affect me) but may be an issue for other users:*Curved profile of the ring makes it slightly thicker than other rings, and might be uncomfortable while handling weights or bars during a gym workout.I would definitely recommend RENPHO and I will update with any changes or updates.
BEST Health Ring on the Market. There are several rings on the market that monitor your health and I have tried several (except Oura - I refuse to pay a subscription after forking over hundreds of $$). I have paid between $45 - $299 and all of them run out of juice after about 3-4 days. But this one from Renpho is the BEST!! I paid about $187, there is no monthly subscription fee, it is very accurate and connects to the app in my phone with NO ISSUES. I didn't order the ring sizer. I just ordered the same size as all of the other rings I previous purchased and it was a perfect fit. The most absolutely best thing about it is that the battery life lasts 9 - 10 days between recharging. Now I will say that the life span depends on how many times you connect to the app to check on things but I could check it every night and morning and at lease a couple of times per day and that was still the amount of life I consistently got from it between recharge times. It can track just about everything the apple watch will except the new apple watches will detect sleep apnea where Renpho does not. Also this ring is eligible for FSA purchases. It is a little bit thicker than the others but is not impeding and it isn't weighty. I don't even notice I am wearing it. Again, if you are shopping for a health ring and just don't know which one to choose, this one is the ONE!
Size for index finger. When ordering, nowhere in the description does it state it is recommended to be worn on the index finger. I had to return the first one because I had sized it for a ring finger and needed a larger fit. So far, it keeps nice track of my sleep, which is the main reason I wanted it. Time will tell about the other uses how good it is.Updated Review: The ring looks nice, wears well, but it doesn't track steps accurately at all.
