I’ve been using these AI smart glasses for a while now. The 4K camera captures smooth, clear first-person videos when I’m walking, spending time with my kids, or taking my dog out. It’s great not having to hold my phone all the time. The built-in AI features are genuinely useful. The real-time translation is especially impressive and very helpful for older family members who may struggle with language barriers. The voice assistant responds quickly when I say “HeyCyan,” making it easy to take notes, ask questions, or identify things while I’m out. Bluetooth calling works well too, with clear sound thanks to the noise reduction.
This is a great set of AI glasses.First of all, you have to be aware that this version doesn’t have display screen. So, you should not expect it to work the same way as those very expensive ones with screen. Also, it sees what you see, which means if it’s dark there, the camera also cannot see anything.I tested the glasses for about two weeks. Including picture, video and voice recording functions and other things. For the Glass itself:The good parts:- Images are in high resolution. Videos are also in acceptable resolution. Videos will be very clear as long as you don’t frequently shake your head during recording.- really love the real-time meeting minutes function. I sometimes couldn’t catch all the points during our research meetings, but this AI glasses solved that problem.- the AI translation function is also working well. You can either use the building in function in the app (which is easier, but this would downgrade the reason why we need glasses). To fully use the function of an AI glasses, I think it’s better to use the “Hey Cyan” voice control for the translation, that need some voice commands, but it works.- the materials and build of the glasses feels solid.- the touch pad control adds huge convenience to using the glasses. I really love the touch pad controls and use them a lot.- button functions are well designed and worked as expected. Very easy to remember and use.-battery would last for reasonable amount of time. Will run faster during video recoding but that’s what it should be.-the speaker is good. Better than those in-ear headphones (this is totally personal, some people may think it’s the other way)The not so good parts:-feels some pressure at the nose after long time wearing.-the camera seems is facing up. So, when you think you are looking at something, the glasses is actually seeing something slightly higher (seem my attached image with that red tape measure. I thought I was looking at the tape measure, but the glasses were seeing something higher. )-“Flash light” problem. The images in product information says there is a “flash light”. When we see word “flash light”, we usually expect some sort of bright light, but here is totally not the case, it’s just a small status light to show that the camera is working. It’s good for privacy, but confusing here. I strongly suggest the seller change the word “flash light” to something like “camera status light”For the Hey Cyan AI:-it doesn’t ask for your position. It’s good for privacy, but on the other side it also means the AI won’t know where you are. So it won’t be able to provide position based service. Don’t ask questions like “what’s the time?” “What’s the weather today?” It won’t know.-it’s generally good and working well. It can clearly explain the images, but sometimes it’s talking too much and provides way too much information than I want.
These AI glass are really good. Videos taken are very clear even when I’m walking. Light weighted and very comfortable to wear. Setup through the App is also very easy.Overall, excellent product, very good for vlogging, outdoor activities and hands free recording. Definitely recommend!
