Who we are
Our website address is: https://aiwearablehub.com (“AI Wearable Hub”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
If you have questions about this policy, contact us via the site’s contact form or at [email protected].
Comments
When visitors leave comments, we collect the data shown in the comments form and, for spam and security, the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string.
An anonymized string (hash) created from your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture (if any) is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images, avoid uploading images with embedded EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the site can download and extract location data from images on the site.
Cookies
- Comment convenience: If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email, and website in cookies. These last for 1 year.
- Login check: Visiting the login page sets a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
- Login & display: When you log in, we set cookies to save your login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last 2 days, screen-options cookies last 1 year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps your login for 2 weeks. Logging out removes login cookies.
- Editor cookie: If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie may be saved in your browser that includes the post ID of the article you edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website. These sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Analytics & affiliate disclosure
We may use privacy-respecting analytics (e.g., Google Analytics via Site Kit) to understand site traffic and performance. These services may set their own cookies or process IP addresses and device data.
Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links (for example, Amazon Associates). If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate programs may set cookies to track referrals and attribute sales.
Who we share your data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely so we can recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in moderation.
For users that register on our website (if any), we store the personal information provided in the user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site or have left comments, you can request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided. You can also request that we erase personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. To make a request, contact [email protected]
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service and, where applicable, analytics/anti-abuse services.
